A LITTLE SOMETHING TO READ

Story & history

A bowl shaped by its chili seasoning

Sufen is part of Guiyang's everyday noodle culture, eaten for breakfast and at other times. Its character comes from the gently sour noodles and the chili seasoning; warm noodles can be dressed in the same style as a cold mixed bowl.
